Retrieving music files lost through transfer jitter
Large sized downloads of files are susceptible to a problem known as jitter. Very often we download an application or other large sized file and the data streaming of the download is interrupted for a microsecond. When downloading something as simple as a text file the information is not corrupted and the file usually is good. But when image files such as videos with audio files attached have the download process slightly interrupted it usually results in the file not being able to open.
This problem can also occur when transferring iPod or video files from the player to the PC. Very often we think a file transfer has been successful and proceed to delete a file so as to make room for new ones. When the file has been deleted after an incomplete transfer the solution is to use a digital media recovery program.
